There are two types of reviews, at least as far as this page is concerned. The first group, which is self-explanatory, are reviews of Steve's books. The second group is reviews of other author's books written by Steve. Steve has reviewed for SFSITE, Blue Iris Journal, Dark Matter Chronicles and Bard's Ink. He even wrote a column on writing reviews entitled "Reviewing the Review", that appeared in Easywriter as part of the Ready and Quilling series.
To Steve, writing a review should tell something about the reviewer as well as something about the book. A reviewer can't afford to be impartial, but owes the reading public his biased opinion, as long as he states those particular biases in the review itself. Reviews that are unbiased and impersonal, also tend to be uninteresting.
