View from the Parapet was my first column on the Internet. It was originally part of Dragonsclaw, along with my serial, Alaric Swifthand. Soon it moved to Exodus, which later merged with An Eclipsing to form Conflicting Spectrums. While the first two incarnations of Parapet were a forum for me to say whatever I liked, the Conflicting Spectrum issues were themed.
Parapet was my chance to have fun, to rant, to stretch my perceptions. It is, in many ways, the forerunner to my later column, Sahara Ice.
It was sometimes fun, sometimes contraversial, but always entertaining.
The Parapet columns are presented here in the order they appeared on the Internet, broken into sections for each of the zines in which they appeared.
